Fairwit Electronics has been engaged in the research of urban intelligent transportation. Focusing on the urban traffic requirements for safety, convenience, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, Fairwit has developed a series of products and various solutions. These include infrastructure construction for urban intelligent traffic systems (cable/wireless traffic information transmission networks, electronic payment, and mobile payment platforms) and the development of integrated urban traffic management systems (traffic information dissemination systems, video monitoring systems, traffic emergency command, and vehicle scheduling). These solutions cater to various travel modes, including buses, taxis, rail transit, bike-sharing, ferries, and bus rapid transit.

In the rail transportation industry, Fairwit is a provider of integrated solutions and specialized affiliated equipment. Its offerings range from modules to devices, software to systems, and from ACC systems to the entire suite of AFC terminal equipment.

The company holds more than 60 independent intellectual property rights in the rail transit field. In recent years, Fairwit has undertaken projects involving rail transit systems and equipment in Nanjing, Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Shijiazhuang, Hefei, as well as in international markets, including India, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Venezuela, Hong Kong, and various European countries and regions.

The Jiangsu urban public transport AFC smart card system that Fairwit Electronics participated in has been successfully applied in the Nanjing Metro. The smart card is now operational in over 41 domestic cities.

The smart card is an integrated circuit card equipped with a high-tech chip. It functions as an electronic wallet capable of storing multiple payment records and is rechargeable. Currently, the smart card used in the Nanjing Metro can also be utilized in 41 other cities, including 13 cities within Jiangsu Province, as well as Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, and Xiamen.

Fairwit Information Company also managed the upgrade project for the urban public transport AFC smart card system in the Wuxi Metro, including Wuxi Metro Line 2 and Suzhou Metro Line 2.

It is difficult for a traditional video surveillance integrated platform to search fast and accurately the information in relation to an incident among mass-stored videos when an investigation is taken afterward. This high-definition platform can schedule and manage the entire image resources of the network, and control and operate in accordance with the preset priority.
